The Associated General Contractors (ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ) of Nevada is proud to announce the launch of its public awareness campaign, "Respect the Cone: My family needs me home," aimed at fostering a culture of safety within roadway and highway construction work zones. The campaign will launch with a press conference on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at 9:45 a.m. at the U.S. 395 northbound on-ramp at Parr Boulevard. Speakers include Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo, Nevada Department of Transportation Director Tracy Larkin Thomason, and Sparks Mayor/RTC Washoe Chair Ed Lawson. Road and highway workers will also be in attendance.
