Maintaining Cash Flow During the COVID-19 Crisis: An Overview of New Federal Support Programs & Practical Advice for Contractors
On April 8, this webinar provided an overview of how construction firms can take advantage of recent federal programs created to support businesses during the COVID-19 crisis, including the new Small Business Administration (SBA) Paycheck Protection Program and revisions to the Economic Injury Disaster Loan program, as well as some tax relief and tax deferral programs created in the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. The presenters provided important information about the qualification rules for the SBA loan programs, such as affiliation and how a company鈥檚 employees are counted. Additionally, the presenters provided contractors with practical steps they can take to address cash flow issues in the current environment.

Ask the Experts: Impact of Coronavirus on Union Contractors
On April 3, 黑料不打烊 had a conversation with experts on the labor and employment law considerations for union construction contractors during the coronavirus outbreak. Participants learned how to navigate new paid sick and family leave mandates, expiring collective bargaining agreements, and layoffs and furloughs while staying compliant with the National Labor Relations Act, the WARN Act, labor contracts (including benefit fund), and more. The webinar also addressed what Congress is considering for future relief and how union contractors might be impacted.

An Overview of the Latest Economic, Legislative & Regulatory COVID-19 Related Impacts on Construction
On March 30, 黑料不打烊 CEO Stephen Sandherr and Vice President of Government Affairs Jimmy Christianson will provide an analysis of the recently passed coronavirus relief legislation and what it means for construction firms. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Update on COVID-19 Response
On March 27, 黑料不打烊 hosted a FREE webinar with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to update the industry on their COVID-19 response. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is currently undertaking efforts to support FEMA, State, and local authorities to respond to the COVID-19 outbreak. Among these efforts is assisting other agencies in assessing and potential sites for suitability as alternate care facilities and to rapidly engage contractors to prepare them for medical use. This presentation will give an overview of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers efforts as they stand, the challenges and opportunities presented, and what construction contractors can do to help in these efforts.
