Labor Department Updates FMLA E-Laws Advisor

The U. S. Department of Labor鈥檚 Wage and Hour Division (WHD) recently released an updated version of its elaws Advisor regarding the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), a federal law that entitles eligible employees of covered employers to take unpaid, job-protected leave for specified reasons. 聽聽The was revised to reflect recent statutory changes to the FMLA and corresponding regulatory changes that became effective in January聽 2009.
